The Interview

Exams are always considered as a 'necessary evil' in the minds of young children/adults. Today, I am going to interview two renowned personalities of the world, Rapunzel whose acting is worth appreciating in the movie Tangled, and Merida, who is a fantastic archer in the movie Brave. Let us see what are their opinions with respect to exams.

Me: I am very glad to have an interview with you two.
Miss Rapunzel, what are your opinions regarding
exams? Is there a need to ban them?

R:   I think exams are really very challenging.
It makes us more smart than we are and
is helpful in brightening our future. They
       are so exciting!

Me: What are your views Miss Merida?

M:    I do not agree with Rapunzel. Exams
literally kills you! You have to study
day and night for a stupid test and
then you end up getting a 'F'. What
         an injustice!

Me: Would you like to comment on this
        Miss Rapunzel?

R:    You are not at all optimistic Merida.
If you study hard, you can definitely
        get an A+!

M:   But what about my freedom? I can't
        remove time for archery!

R:   You know nothing about time-
       management. If you have watched
Tangled, you would see I value my
       time so well!

M:  Yeah. Then get stuck up with
       Eugene!

Me: I think we are getting a bit
       distracted from our topic.

R:  Exams are very essential. I
love to read and I also remove
time to play with Pascal. I have
also managed to see the flying
      lanterns!

M:  You haven't given any test in
       your film blondie. Don't show-
off just because you have got
       magical hair!

R:   I am not showing-off! You
are trying to act so smart as
if you have written many tests
       in Brave!

M:  I changed my mother back
into a human being! That is
more or less like a test!

R:   And you were only respon-
sible for turning her into a
       bear!

Me:  Relax ladies. This is not
         a debate.

 R:   ( Taking a deep breath)
        Exams make us realise
        about our weaknesses.
As it did to you Merida.

M:    Wrong. It turns your life
         more miserable as it did
         to me.

R:    Once again Merida. You
        were responsible for that.

M:   So now you accept that
        my adventure was like an
        exam?

R:   No. I am just making you
       realize that you were so
       selfish.

Me: We are not here to discuss
        about your roles!

R:    Getting out of the tower was
like a test for me. It made me
more strong and also made me
        realize about my biggest mistake,
that I did not trust Eugene.

M:   I am here to discuss about written
        tests!

R:   So what? Exams are exams.

M:  You mean spending time with
a lover is like an exam?

R:   That's an exam coupled with
       destiny.

M:   So even I faced a similar situation!

Me:  Enough you two! I think I should
        better stop this interview.

R:    I agree. I only like to converse
        with 'like-minded' creatures.

M:   I am friendly to only those people,
who are brave enough to understand
         mantras pertaining to success.

(They both storm away through different exits)
