Trust.!

A 15 year old girl named Maria was sitting in front of her window, feasting her eyes on the scenic beauty of a rainy day and also trimming her nails simultaneoulsy. Her sister Samantha, entered into the room and sat beside her on a chair.
"What's going on?" she asked her casually.
"Nothing" Maria replied.
"Are you sad?" Samantha asked by judging the expression on her
face.
"No."
Samantha sighed and stood in front of her. "You don't know to lie Maria. Now tell me what it is."
Maria looked into her eyes and said, "Why can't you just leave me alone?"
"Here's the deal. You tell me what exactly is on your mind and then I would leave you alone. Deal?"
Maria rolled her eyes and said irritably,"Fine! It's about my friend, Chelsea."
"Go on."
"Chelsea and I used to be really good friends. But I found her gang really boring. So I decided to spend more time with my school friends.
It has been six months and we are not in touch. Well, I had a fight with my school friends."
"I never liked your school friends Maria" her sister said sceptically, "I feel they are really very bossy and always try to act over smart. What happened next?"
"I only have Jessica on my side after the fight. We both are really getting bored nowadays. So I decided to call up Chelsea."
"Oh! So now as you have no friends, you are calling up Chelsea eh?"
Maria's cheeks turned red. "She is not interested to hang out with me by the way."
"Of course she wouldn't! All these days when you were hanging out with your school friends, you didn't think about her! Don't you realize you were playing with her feelings?"
"I have one more thing to confess. Do you remember that day when I called her up to come to my place during Halloween? I did that thinking mother would let me out as I have a company. She didn't turn up by the way."
Samantha sighed. "Technically, you were using her."
Maria nodded, her head bowed low.
"You did that to her and that's why today you have no friends except Jessica. You really deserve it."
"It was not done on purpose!" Maria snapped angrily.
Samantha took her hand and said, "Always remember one thing in life. Never ever break anyone's trust. It is the only medium that strengthens any relationship. If you take that for granted, it is obvious that the relation would also break. Friends are like passing clouds but never forget the ones who helped you first."
Maria nodded and hugged her sister. "What if I apologize to her?"
"As far as I know Chelsea, she is really a nice girl. She will definitely forgive you."
Maria thanked her sister and went out of the room to call her up.
