Friendship.....an unpredictable fate

Once upon a time in a small village lived two friends, a horse and a pig. Unlike other animals, they talked with each other.(That doesn't mean in the slightest that they live in Narnia!) They were the original inhabitants of a village where people wore turbans on their heads and trading was their official business. The village was situated in a valley, surrounded by huge hills, beyond that what laid ahead was understood by no one. Well, the horse belonged to a middle-aged man who was bald, hefty and tall. He was very kind to the horse. The pig as usual lived in a dirty place full of mud and other rubbish. The horse did not mind its unhygienic habits and neither did the pig thought that it was bad to be friendly with cleanliness beauties. On a very sunny day, the horse came to be acquainted with a horrid news that he was going to be sold by his master to gain money, as he faced financial crisis.
"Oh don't worry" the pig said to the horse,"you are going nowhere."
The horse stamped his hooves in anger and bellowed,"I am going piggy! There is no chance for me to escape! My life is going to take a terrible turn!"
The pig tried to console the horse but it was of no use. The following day, the man wearing a big turban, who was the consumer, arrived with a big smile on his face.
"So Arsheesh! Ready to sell your horse?"
Arsheesh himself was quite sad about the idea. He loved his horse a lot! Remember I told you how kind he was with his horse? But he had his family too, who were dying in hunger.
"Yes Sir. My dear horse is resting in its stables.Meanwhile, I will get you a glass of water."
The man wearing a big turban with a big smile on his face was about to enter in the stable when the pig blocked his path.
"Hey you!" He exclaimed in an irritated way,"shoo!"
But to his surprise, many other pigs like piggy, started surrounding him and started pulling his dhoti with their mouths.
"Aargh!"
He tried to get rid of them and escape, but he slipped and landed in the most dreadful place. The piggy's place! You can imagine his condition! The big smile on his face disappeared and big tears formed in his eyes when he saw nearby visitors laughing at him.
At the same moment, Arsheesh arrived and his jaw dropped.
"Oh God!How on earth you landed here?"
The man rolled his eyes and managed to come out of the place. Without uttering a word, he stormed away, not even looking back. Coins were spilling out of his pockets.
"Your coins Sir!" Arsheesh shouted.
"Keep those with you! I don't care! And also your stupid horse!" He answered with his back on Arsheesh.
Arsheesh was on cloud 9.  He told his family the good news and the kids jumped in triumph. At the same moment, pig and the horse were also celebrating their victory.
"You are my best friend!" the horse exclaimed in happiness.
"We are best friends!"
Arsheesh entered in the stable after some time and carried the pig in his arms.
"Maya!" he called out to his wife,"why don't we eat the pig in this joyful mood!"
The horse looked at his master in surprise but couldn't help his dear friend, as he was already taken away by his master, before he could do something.
